we had to put our little kitty down, and the staff and doctors were compassionate, and helpful. they even cried with us, so it must take a lot out of the doctors and staff, as we only had to put one pet down, and they do this day in and day out... So to see the compassion to the point of tears was so comforting. I was unable to write till now as the death of my cat was so heartbreaking, however I just want to thank the doctors and staff that sent sharpie (sharp tooth) to kitty heaven. You went above and beyond, thank you, and take care of yourselves. It must be tough to feel the loss for all of us pet owners, and I for one really appreciate you all for your compassion. Many thanks D.A.

Some times ago the doctor euthanized my sick rat in the most compassionate way. Another hospital on Salt Spring euthanized the other sick one a year later, unfortunately, many female rats get tumors, and it was traumatizing for life. I am still haunted with the rat trying to hold on to me while she stuck a needle in its heart and it squeked, it was sickening, she said hurry up, end its suffering, it was just sick. This clinic stayed in my memory as a safe place if you need a procedure like that. They were patient and compassionate.

Experienced staff and vets provide high quality care. When our Aussie had a true crisis, the staff and vet assisted us immediately and stayed well past normal hours. Their empathetic, professional care saved his life.

Thank you so much Dr. Huber for helping my Winnie after her little bite incident the other day. She is recovering well :)

I love this place. They are thorough and explain things very well. They even took the trouble to send me an exhaustive email when I was abroad and had problems with my cat. Fabulous place. In the past they literally saved my pet. The only negative point is the price. They are the most expensive vets I've experienced, but then Canadian vets are very expensive, though this clinic is on the top range.
